January 3–11, 2026 — Blount & Sevier Counties

The Maryville Lions Club will join fellow District 12-N clubs for Lions International's Hunger Week of Service by packing meals at Pathways Church - the Hangar (Sevierville). Our shared goal: 40,000 shelf-stable meals to support regional food partners during the winter crunch.

How you can help

  • Volunteer shift location: Pathways Church - the Hangar, 1210 Airport Rd, Sevierville, TN

  • Date:  January 6, 2026 (multiple shifts—details below)

  • What to expect: Assembly-line style packing; standing, scooping, sealing, and boxing.

  • Who can serve: Teens and adults; great for families and small groups.

  • What to wear: Closed-toe shoes; long hair tied back. All materials and training provided.

Sign up / questions

  • Maryville Lions members and Friends: watch your email for shift options, or contact maryvillelions@gmail.com to reserve a spot.

  • Can’t attend? Consider a donation to help cover ingredients and supplies.

Why it matters: Every bag we seal translates into real meals for neighbors across East Tennessee. Join us to turn a few hours of teamwork into tens of thousands of meals—and a stronger, better-fed community.

Following the packing event, individual clubs will take several boxes of food back to their communities and deliver to their local food pantries.
